Glen Campbell Set For New Release

 

 

Glen Campbell’s 50 year career has produced countless hits and awards, but you’ve never heard anything quite like this.

 

Glen’s new album, Meet Glen Campbell, is due out on August 19. The album, which will be released on CD, vinyl and digital download, will feature Glen singing some of music’s older and more contemporary hits.

 

Some of the bands Glen covers on the album are Green Day, Jackson Browne, U2 and Tom Petty. Even though the songs are covers, each has Glen’s own unique touch, something Glen himself is very proud of.

 

“I really like all of the songs and I had a great time recording them,” Glen said. “While I didn’t write these songs, this sounds like a Glen Campbell album, which is very important to me.”
