Buble and Blake Duet

3/14/2008 Meaghan Mitchell   Nashville's Sommet Center hosted a concert that brought two musical genres together for a special rendition of a current country single. Michael Buble invited Blake Shelton to join him on stage for Blake's current single, "Home," which was written and originally released by Buble. Blake attended the concert and knew he was going to meet the writer behind his latest effort, but said the invitation to duet was unplanned and unrehearsed.  

  "I was so excited to finally get to meet Michael. He's a great guy, really funny and easy to get to know," says Shelton. "When he invited me to sing with him I was truly honored and a little nervous since we didn't rehearse. But it was an awesome experience." The two sat on stools trading lines of the song, after which the crowd responded with the first standing ovation of the evening.
