Brooks & Dunn Use New Music To Stay Young

Betts Brooks & Dunn have a 16-year history of recording and performing country hits, but Kix Brooks says he and singing partner Ronnie Dunn do try to keep up with what’s hot in popular music. "I still chase new music,” says Kix.  “It doesn't mean I like it all, but I'm into what's coming out, what's new.” Ronnie Dunn says good music keeps him feeling youthful. “Years and years ago, back in the clubs, the guys would say, 'Music keeps you young.' For some reason, it just does,” says Ronnie. Brooks & Dunn's latest album, Cowboy Town, featuring the hit, “Proud of the House We Built,” was released Oct. 2. It recently debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart.
