Country Music superstars Carrie Underwood and Brooks & Dunn have teamed up with ACM Lifting Lives to help send funding to the newly created ACM Lifting Lives Temporary Home Fund. The fund will help support the families that have been affected by the floods in Middle Tennessee.

The fund has taken its name from Underwood's song, "Temporary Home." Underwood is using funds she received as the 2009 Entertainer of the Year to jump start the charity fund. "Last year, I partnered with ACM Lifting Lives to help people in my hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. Now I'm happy that we can help people in my current home of Nashville," said Underwood.

A text-to-donate campaign will kick off during this weekend's Brooks & Dunn tribute, ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn – The Last Rodeo, which airs Sunday, May 23 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Ticket proceeds from the taping have been given to ACM Lifting Lives, and a PSA created by Underwood also will run during the special.

Fans can make donations now by texting ACM to 501501, valid through August 2010. A one time charge of $10.00 will be charged to the wireless bill. Donations also can be made at www.ACMliftinglives.org and at www.CBS.com/give.
