Brooks & Dunn Call It Quits

Legendary Country duo Brooks & Dunn, who have been making music for the past 20 years, announced on their Web site that they will be splitting up. The message said they "have agreed as a duo that it's time [to] call it a day."
"This ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed," the message continued. "We owe it all to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don't believe them, it's just time."
The duo, who released their debut album, Brand New Man, in 1991, will release their new greatest hits album, #1's and then some, on Sept. 8. They will also tour the U.S. and Canada on The Last Rodeo tour in 2010 before the split is complete.
Brooks & Dunn's current single, "Indian Summer," is at No. 18 on the Billboard Country Songs chart. See the video here.
