Brooks & Dunn have announced that their final tour date, on August 10, 2010, will take place at the Nashville Bridgestone Arena, formely the Sommet Center, in a benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

The duo made the announcement during the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville yesterday.

"For several years, we have tossed around ideas for the best way to make a contribution to the Museum," Brooks & Dunn said. "We have a tremendous appreciation for the road that was traveled by the great stars that came before us. Their long nights in station wagons with instruments strapped on the roofs built an industry that allowed us to cruise around in big tour buses. Our last show together will certainly be a historic point in our lives and careers, and we feel it’s only right that the proceeds from this concert go to a place where all history in our business is so reverently preserved."

Tickets for the final Nashville show of The Last Rodeo Tour will go on sale March 6; special guest are to be announced. The tour will include appearances by Jason Aldean, Gary Allen and Tyler Dickerson. For more information, visit www.brooks-dunn.com.
