12/6/2007 Stephen L. Betts Capitol Records Nashville has teamed up with Giantslayer Records and The Song Trust (songwriters Tim Johnson and Rory Feek) to shine a light on a special song they wrote and produced, “Bring Him Home Santa.” The song was sent to country radio stations this week. Taking the saying “it's all about the song” to heart, The Song Trust has written, recorded and released a song that's not tied to an actual artist. It features an unknown six-year-old girl singing about a letter written to Santa while she's missing her Daddy at Christmas time. They've also created a 'song diary' to document the journey the song has taken from the moment of creation, through the recording process, to the radio release and beyond. “We believe in the power of a song, and especially this one,” says Rory. “It might lead us nowhere ... but then again, it might take us everywhere.”    Capitol Records Nashville is donating 100% of their net proceeds from the sales of “Bring Him Home Santa” to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Listeners can follow the song's journey and find out more about “Bring Him Home Santa” by logging on to www.bringhimhomesanta.com.
