Nov. 4 is not just Election Day, but is also the day that Brad Paisley will be releasing his newest album, Play.  The album contains 16 tracks, 11 of which were co-written by Paisley.Within the 16 tracks, five of the songs feature special guests lending their vocal and musical talents to collaborate with Paisley.  B.B. King, Andy Griffith, Buck Owens, Keith Urban and Steve Wariner are the guest musicians.  The video for “Waitin’ on a Woman,” Paisley's duet with Griffith, was nominated for a CMA Award.Play is considered an instrumental album, even though Paisley sings on a few tracks.  Paisley said, "There was a time when every band had a great player.  I was watching VH1's 'I Love The ‘80s.’  They've got the hair bands on there...There was so much guitar.  These days, it's different.  There's a lack. I'm doing my part, trying to play as many solos as possible."Paisley also said that the album is not entirely Country.  The album features jazz songs as well. The two-time ACM Top Male Vocalist and current CMA Male Vocalist will be appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America and The View on Nov. 4. On Nov. 5, Paisley will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, and on Nov. 11, he will be featured on Dancing with the Stars. Finally, on Nov. 12, Paisley will be co-hosting The 42nd Annual CMA Awards with Carrie Underwood. “Start a Band”, Paisley’s current single, is a duet with Keith Urban and appeared on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in the Top 10 this week, only seven weeks after its release.
