Brad Paisley Smells Like A Wet Dog

Brad Paisley’s video for his current single “Water” is available now on bradpaisley.com, GACTV, CMT and elsewhere. He and his band recently spent almost an entire day in the water making the video. Brad says it reminded him of being a young child at the pool all day. I remember those days at the KC Club in Nashville. It was so embarrassing though because I couldn’t dog paddle.

 

Keith Urban and John Mayer just wrapped up a taping session for CMT Crossroads. They played some of both’s hits and for a finale did a cover of George Michael’s “Faith”. Both have cut Crossroads sessions before with other artists. The performance will June 18 on CMT. Sounds like some serious guitar pickin’ to me.

 

“Gimmie That Girl” is Joe Nichols’ fourth #1 single, topping the charts this week. Joe says, “The Lord has blessed me more than I deserve…”. Amen to that Joe. I once wrote a songe “Gimmie That Bitch” about a female dog I had the hots for, but it didn’t go over well on country radio.

 

Trace Adkins, who’s now on Toby Keith’s label Show Dog – Universal Music, has a new single coming out, “This Ain’t No Love Song”. "Toby has said this new music has a smile on it and maybe that's just a reflection of where I'm at right now," says Adkins.  "I have this new sense of invigoration and making this record was a lot of fun." According to the PR hacks the song has some clever twists. It has bad grammer too!
