After spending the last several weeks regrouping after the devastating floods hit Nashville, Brad Paisley is gearing up to kick off his highly anticipated H2O tour in Virginia Beach this Friday, May 21.

Rehearsals for the tour were supposed to start on May 3, the Monday after the devastating floods hit Middle Tennessee. However, the rehearsal hall and much of Paisley’s gear were damaged or destroyed. It wasn’t until May 7 that Paisley was able to assess the damage and begin the process of replacing the damaged gear.

“When I finally walk out onstage in Virginia Beach, Va., on the first date of the H2O tour – no need to point out the irony, thank you – it will mean so much to all of us than any other tour we’ve ever done. Or probably ever will. I will stand up there more thankful than I’ve ever been for the people in the audience, the band at my back, the crew that makes it happen and the town I’ve never been prouder to represent,” Paisley said in the current issue of Billboard magazine.

Over the next 12 months, H2O will hit 75 cities in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Darius Rucker and Justin Moore will also appear on the tour.

H2O will feature a “Water World Plaza,” sponsored by Skinny Water and Sea Ray Boats, turning every city into a water festival. The “Water World Plaza Stage” will feature up-and-coming artists Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Josh Thompson. The water festival will open at 4 p.m. each day, with concerts starting at 5 p.m.

Paisley is partnering with Hope Through Healing Hands campaign for clean, safe water. Donations made at each stop will be used to dig wells and purify water in America and around the world.
