Brad Paisley’s concert in Genesee County, NY last Saturday got a little out of hand. Sheriff deputies came to the concert and handed out 56 citations for underage drinkers and made 14 arrests related to drinking and disorderly conduct. The next day, Brad shared his displeasure in his law-breaking fans by Tweeting: “Quite a performance in Darien Lakes Saturday. We also played music.” He also included a link to the local paper’s crime log, which listed the names, ages, and towns of most of the people who were cited or arrested.

Though drinking is a common occurrence at concerts, to do so in excess or underage can cause serious problems. Brad did his part to help stop underage drinking by calling out those fans and making it clear that he does not want that kind of rowdy behavior at his concerts. Hopefully all his fans got the message loud and clear and will think twice before breaking the law, especially at a concert that they’ve anticipated and paid to see.
