The Academy of Country Music Awards are already rolling in. ACM announced yesterday that Brad Paisley won Video of the Year for his song “Waitin’ on a Woman” and Vocal Event of the Year for his duet with Keith Urban, “Start a Band.”

Brad Paisley has received six nominations this year, which ties him up with George Strait for the most nominated artist of the year. Paisley is also nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Top Male Vocalist, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year, already winning the other two categories he was nominated in.

Currently, Paisley is the reigning Top Male Vocalist. If he takes home the Entertainer of the Year Award, he will be eligible for the Triple Crown Award, the Academy’s recognition of those who have won Top New Artist, Top Artist and Entertainer of the Year awards.

Keith Urban received two other nominations this year (in addition to Vocal Event of the Year) including Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist. In past ACM Award shows, Urban won Top Male Vocalist in both 2004 and 2005, Album of the Year in 2004 and Top New Male Artist in 2000. Like Paisley, Urban will also be eligible to for the Triple Crown Award this year if he wins Entertainer of the Year.

The ACM Awards will be broadcast list on Sunday, April 5, on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
