Brooks & Dunn Considering Solo Projects

8/9/2007 Stephen L. Betts Brooks and Dunn's Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will likely release solo albums, but it doesn't mean the superstar duo is splitting. It's just that the prolific songwriters have far more songs to record than room on Brooks & Dunn albums for their work. "In the contract we're signing right now, we have solo projects," Ronnie tells the Tennessean of the deal, which is still being negotiated. "That does not in any way mean the franchise is in danger. But we are allowed to release solo projects. "We are probably working on those now," he adds with a smile. The duo's new album, Cowboy Town, will be released in October.
