For Brooks & Dunn, taking their live show on the road in Australia is quite different from launching a tour in the U.S. Since tour buses don't travel on water, Brooks & Dunn's Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, currently on tour on the island continent, admit it was a challenge to get all their equipment to Australia for the shows. Kix says since he didn't want to risk losing some of his favorite instruments by trying to ship them halfway around the world, the duo wouldn’t be taking much with them. Even though they’re traveling light, demand for tickets for all four of their Australian shows has been heavy. In fact, they’ve all sold out. The ACM-nominated duo played to enthusiastic crowds Friday and Saturday in Brisbane. Tonight (3/5) they perform in Melbourne, and they'll wrap up the Australian trek with a show on Monday (3/10) in Sydney.   Kix says since he didn't want to risk losing some of his favorite instruments by trying to ship them halfway around the world, the duo wouldn’t be taking much with them.
