BMI Shows Support for Flood Victims

After last month’s flood in Nashville, BMI is teaming up with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to create a BMI Flood Relief Fund. BMI will match donations up to $50,000 and will contribute an additional $50,000 to recovery efforts.

 

The announcement was made during the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill all-star Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery by BMI President & CEO Del Bryant and BMI Vice President Jody Williams.

 

“All of us at BMI realize what a privilege it is to live here and be part of this community,” said Williams. “Everybody here knows somebody who was devastated by the flood. Nashville has friends all over the world, and the match program has been designed so that anyone can contribute, from anywhere.”

 

The tax deductible donations to the BMI Flood Relief Fund will be accepted through July 31, 2010, at www.bmi.com.
