Blake Shelton will be performing his first live television concert special on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at 9 p.m. EST on GAC. Filmed at the indoor Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Ind., it will be the largest stage Shelton has ever taken. The 90-minute special will be packed with hits.

“Blake’s talent, energy and great sense of humor combine to make a very entertaining special,” said Sarah Trahern, senior vice president of programming for GAC. “GAC is thrilled to be able to partner with him for his first televised special.”

“Music means everything to me,” Shelton said. “It’s as vital to me as water and air and food. And beyond that, country music is that important to me.”

Shelton is atop the Billboard and Country Aircheck charts for the third week in a row with his hit single, “It’s All About Tonight.” Shelton hasn’t been on top of the charts for three straight weeks since his 2004 single, “Some Beach,” held the top spot for four weeks. He is the only solo male Country artist to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart more than once this year. He previously hit No. 1 with his funny duet with Trace Adkins, "Hillbilly Bone."
