Dailey & Vincent, the current International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year, is welcoming a new fiddler, B.J. Cherryholmes, to their group. B.J. is joining the group immediately, replacing Jesse Stockman, who had to leave the group because of a wrist injury.

“We hate losing our fiddler and my longtime friend, Jesse Stockman,” said Jamie Dailey. “When it comes down to physical well-being, sometimes you don’t have a choice. And Jesse didn’t.”

Though the group is sad to lose their friend and colleague, they know that their newest member will be a great addition. Darrin Vincent said, “While we’re going to sorely miss Jesse, we know that B.J. will do an amazing job of carrying Dailey & Vincent forward. We’re very pleased to announce him as the newest member of the band.”

B.J. is already familiar with the bluegrass scene, having been the fiddler for the Grammy-nominated group Cherryholmes until they disbanded earlier this year. He joins his new group’s front men Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, along with Jeff Parker on mandolin and vocals, Joe Dean Jr. on banjo, guitar, and vocals, and Christian Davis on guitar and bass vocals.
