Billy Ray Cyrus released his latest album, Back to Tennessee, today, which features 12 tracks, including a duet with his daughter. “Butterfly Fly Away” is a duet with Miley for her upcoming Hannah Montana movie that hits theaters Friday.
With appearances on Good Morning America and Regis and Kelly tomorrow and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this coming Monday, Cyrus described this album as the best way to move forward in life. “This album is everything I am at this second,” he said. “It’s everything that I’ve been through and every step along the way.”
Nashville producer Mark Bright, who is famous for his work with Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood, produced the album. Glen Ballard produced the duet with Miley.
Cyrus’ last album, Home At Last, reached the No. 3 spots on the Top Country Albums chart and featured another duet with Miley. The song, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go,” immediately became a hit among fans.
