Billy-Ray-CyrusCountry songwriter Jeffrey Steele, known for hits such as "Speed," "My Town" and "What Hurts the Most," told Dial Global that he will be teaming up with Cyrus, Vassar and former rock singer John Waite to form a rock/pop band they will call Brother Clyde, GACtv.com reported. Waite would serve as the lead singer for the group.

In Country Music, many artists pair up to do duets together, but it is very rare that four artists who all have their own individual careers would come together to form a band. But despite all of their busy schedules, Steele said they will be starting rehearsals soon.

While the thought of a supergroup does sound exciting, it is still up in the air if it will actually happen. While Steele believes that it will, Phil Vassar's spokesperson says it was only spoken about in a songwriting session.
