Billy Dean Makes History with Performance in China

Billy Dean will be the first-ever country singer to perform on China’s International Beijing TV.
 
In honor of the Chinese New Year, Billy joined other stars on the 7,000-mile journey overseas to perform at the annual Spring Festival Golden Gala.
 
"Performing on this huge television special was an honor and an amazing experience for me," said Dean. "I had so much fun with those folks. Only downside was the jet lag!"
 
Dean honored the hard working men and women of China by performing the hit “Six Days on the Road.”
 
With 2011 already off to a successful start, Billy is set to co-star in the made-for-TV movie, ‘Decision’ along side Natalie Grant. The film, which was made just outside of Nashville, is set to air sometime this year.
 
Dean plays a fireman who is killed after falling asleep at the wheel while driving. His wife, played by Grant, is left to raise their teenage son alone.
 
Dean is currently on tour. His next concert date is Feb. 10 in Dallas.
