Billy Currington’s newest single, “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer,” is the fastest-rising and biggest-selling first week single of his career.

With more than 21,000 sales, “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” has sold 42 percent more than his previous best, “Don’t.” “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” is the debut single from Currington’s fourth album, to be released in September.

“Pretty Good at Drinkin’Beer” was written by Troy Jones and produced by Carson Chamerblain and Currington. Chamberlain has produced all of Currington’s previous albums, which have included the hits “Don’t,” “People Are Crazy” and “That’s How Country Boys Roll.”

Currington will film the “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” video during his CMA Fest Performance at LP Field this week.
