Whisperin' Bill Anderson Back on Tour

6/23/2008 Amber Garner Country Music Hall of Fame legend Bill Anderson is gearing up for an acoustic tour across Canada. According to top-40charts.com Anderson’s set will run 90min. in length and be a very intimate performance. The performance aptly named, “A Night With a Legend,” will give fans an opportunity to hear the stories behind the music and how their favorite songs came to be. Some of the songs, which he lovingly calls his ‘children’, that will be performed are “City Lights,” Whiskey Lullaby,” “Still” and “Give it Away.” There will also be performances be regular members of Anderson’s Po’ Folks Band, that includes Les Singer, James Freeze and Lisa Manning. Whisperin’ Bill Anderson’s career has spanned over six decades and he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. The tour will begin in September.
