"Biker Chick" Running in Chicago Marathon

8/23/2007 Stephen L. Betts Jo Dee Messina is in the middle of training for the Chicago Marathon, taking place Oct. 7. Jo Dee’s dad was an athletic director, so she was naturally an athletic kid, playing baseball, capture the flag, kickball and football. Running came later in life. According to nashvillekat.com, Jo Dee will be joined in the marathon by her brother and her steel-guitar player. Jo Dee’s current single, “Biker Chick” is from the forthcoming album, Unmistakable.
