Tim McGraw knows how to sell; and for proof one need look no further than the reported numbers for his recently wrapped tour. McGraw’s “Live Your Voice Tour 08” grossed nearly $20 million in 34 shows and drew approximately 500,000 fans. "It was another great McGraw concert event," said Live Nation representative Brian O'Connell, who was the exclusive promoter this year. "It was especially strong given the state of the economy. We worked hard with Tim's team to maintain his cutting edge production, trend setting sponsorship programs but giving the fans a break on the price. The average ticket price was less than $50 compared to most summer tours on the road this year which averaged $75 or $80." McGraw gave back to the concertgoers in more ways than one, offering free music downloads from his website along with gaming areas from concert sponsors KC Masterpiece and Kingsford Charcoal. He also debuted three new songs, "Southern Voice," "You Had to Be There" and "Still," each of which will be present on his upcoming album.
