Grammy award-nominee Kenny Alphin is better known as Big Kenny of the Country duo Big and Rich. Big Kenny and his wife Christiev recently traveled to Sudan in efforts to bring aid and raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis. They recorded their experiences in a documentary film, Bearing Light: A Journey to Sudan. On stage, Big Kenny and Christiev will share clips from the fil,m and he will perform a short set of music.This event will be taped for the National Geographic Music Channel program GeoSessions.
