The Terry and Carmen Thompson Benefit takes place tonight at The Factory in Franklin, Tenn. All proceeds from the event will go to helping Terry and Carmen with wheelchair-accessible housing and transportation, in addition to financial assistance on medical bills.

Carmen Thompson sustained life-threatening injuries when a piece of machinery fell while she was mowing a field at a farm owned by Terry’s family in Louisiana. At the time of the accident, Carmen did not have health insurance. She had been dropped by her carrier after experiencing melanoma.

Tonight’s benefit will include a silent auction and concert. The auction begins at 5:30 p.m., and will include items such as a Vince Young autographed football and breakfast with Dierks Bentley. Amy Grant, Ed Bruce, and Marcus Hammon are among those scheduled to perform in the concert, beginning at 7.

Anyone unable to attend the benefit can make a tax-deductible donation to Clearview Baptist Church via a link on www.terryandcarmen.com. More information on the event can also be found on the website.
