Toby Keith On Big Screen Again

6/20/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer   Country Music powerhouse Toby Keith held a press conference yesterday to discuss his latest project, a film called Beer for My Horses. Although the movie title is taken from a Keith single, the film is not like the song's video, a cop mini drama in which Keith is a detective that enlists the help of Willie Nelson to get the bad guy.  The film has been deemed a comedy road trip story.  Keith plays Rack, a deputy who goes against the law to rescue the girl from dangerous drug lords. Nelson also appears in the movie, along with Gina Gershon, Ted Nugent, Tom Skerritt and Rodney Carrington, who co-wrote the movie with Keith.  This is Keith's second major movie, he starred in the 2006 Broken Bridges. Beer For My Horses is set to hit theaters August 8.
