Beaumont Boys Bash Set for April '08

11/13/2007 Tracy Byrd and Mark Chesnutt are set to host a three-day series of charity fundraisers called the Beaumont Boys Bash in Texas next year. The festivities, from April 25-27, are an extension of Tracy’s Homecoming Weekend, which had been an annual event until 2005 when it was cancelled due to lingering damage from Hurricane Rita. Tracy says the benefit will no longer be just his work, but a combined effort with Mark and up-and-coming artist Zona Jones. The weekend will include a Wild Game and Casino night hosted by Mark at the Ford Arena, a Big Bass Tournament hosted by Tracy at Lake Sam Rayburn, and a golf tournament at Bayou Din Golf Club hosted by Zona. A concert at Ford Pavilion will feature all three singers plus another headliner. The weekend will raise money for Children’s Miracle Network in Beaumont, Netcasters Youth Ministries, The Garth House, Boys and Girls Haven and the Southeast Texas Humane Society.
