4/2/2008 Kasey Bell Enterprise, Alabama may be unfamiliar to most people now, but they will be making a lot of noise this summer. Enterprise will be the home of the first ever BamaJam Music and Arts Festival, which will feature three stages and a slew of bluegrass, country, and alternative artists performing over the three day event. Some of the recently signed bluegrass acts include Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Blue Highway, Cherryholmes, Mountain Heart and The Duhks. Joining them on the country stage will be Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Randy Owen, Trace Adkins, Little Big Town and many others. Bands performing on the alternative stage will include Government Mule, Old Crow Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band and Corey Smith. The music festival looks to be a major event. “BamaJam is a music and arts festival created to celebrate the human spirit and the spirit of music,” said Ronnie Gilley, organizer and owner of Ronnie Gilley properties and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment.
