BamaJam Anounces Battle of the Bands

BamaJam, a mega outdoor entertainment extravaganza to take place June 4-6, will also host its first annual Battle of the Bands this year, it was announced today. Four grand-prize winners of the competition will have the opportunity to perform on the Budweiser BamaJam Saloon Stage.
The first 100 acts to sign up will become eligible to compete at the qualifying performances scheduled to take place in the two-phase competition. Competition I takes place April 10 & 11 and Competition II will be held April 17 & 18. Both competitions will be held at the BamaJam location at Boy Scout Road and Highway #167, Enterprise, Ala.
Contestants will perform two songs before the public and will be judged by the audience and a select panel of Nashville music industry executives. Performances will be evaluated by overall fan-appeal, stage presentation and content. The Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands competitions are open to the public.
