Bad Luck Comes in Threes, Eddie Montgomery Served Divorce Papers

In September, Montgomery Gentry parted ways with their Sony Music Nashville record label. Last month, Eddie Montgomery was diagonosed with prostrate cancer. This week, Eddie was served with divorce papers filed by his wife of more than 20 years, Tracy Montgomery.

 

According to CMT.com, Montgomery later Tweeted that he suspects she cannot cope with his recent cancer diagnosis. The papers were served to Montgomery at his steakhouse in Harrodsburg, Ky. The couple have four children and one grandchild.

 

Montgomery is scheduled to undergo surgery and treatment for his cancer later this month.
