Austin Honors Reckless Kelly

Hometown favorites Reckless Kelly received the award for Best Performing Band for Country Music at the Austin Music Awards. The ceremony took place on March 18 at the Austin Music Hall.

The quirky award show has entered its 27th year to honor the live music scene in Austin.

Reckless Kelly's most recent album, Bulletproof, was released in 2008. The band is up for another award this month, this time the first ever LoneStarMusic Awards. The band is up for Best Live Act and Best Album Artwork for Bulletproof.
