Nicole and Keith Update: Aussies Reject Nicole

6/12/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer Looks like Nashville may have to lay claim to Nicole Kidman.  Today an Aussie news site revealed the results from an Australian poll about movies and movies stars, in which Kidman is said to not be a "true Australian" anymore. News.com.au reports: "GOOD Aussie movies are 'as rare as Halley's Comet' and big Aussie stars such as Mel Gibson and Nicole Kidman aren't even seen as 'true Australians' anymore."  The Film Finance Commission report polled almost 1,000 Australians.  The poll went on to clarify that Australians see their movies as being "more realistic," but Hollywood functions more as an escape. Back in the U.S., Kidman made the famous Page Six today, with a rumor that the Bravo reality television hit Project Runway is negotiating to get Kidman on a future episode. Over at CMT.com, Country Music star Keith Urban is being called on for his ability to "play" a cardboard box like a musical instrument. Maybe he played it last weekend at his Backyard BBQ in Nashville, where fifty lucky fans got a private, 45-minute concert with Urban.  Keith Urban likes his small crowds, saying of the intimate event, "There seems to be more sort of energy when people have just seen you play, and we all get to meet each other.... That's the perfect crowd to play to."
