Ashton Shepherd of MCA Nashville is set to release a digital EP of four songs, including her hit song “Look It Up, on Tuesday, March 22.

The EP will also include the title track of her upcoming album, “That’s Where Country Grows.” The much anticipated 10-track album is the follow up to her debut album Sounds So Good and will hit shelves on June 7.

The album earned spots on many publications “Best of” lists, including The Washington Post who named it the Best of 2008 of all genres. Entertainment Weekly said Sounds So Good “is the best mainstream country debut since Taylor Swift’s,” and The Wall Street Journal called her “a potential Loretta Lynn for a new generation.”

Shepherd, who is expecting her second child in September, will be touring this summer and has a performance at New York’s Joe’s Pub on Thursday, March 24 at 6:30 and 9 pm. The performance is part of the Country Music Association Songwriter Series that also features Deric Ruttan, Chris Wallin and Bob DiPiero.
