Ashley's Gearing Up for New CD

8/17/2007   Ashley Gearing made musical history at 12 years old, eclipsing a 46-year-old record previously held by Brenda Lee when her single “Can You Hear Me When I Talk to You”, entered Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart. Now 16, she recently signed with Curb Records. Producer Byron Gallimore has been working with Ashley in the studio. He has produced numerous hits with Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina and several other successful artists. In addition to receiving ASCAP’s “Uncut Diamond” award as a future rising star in country music, Ashley has made several appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, recorded music for the Walt Disney CD series, Disneymania, and has performed with the Boston Pops. Most recently, she’s been featured on numerous national radio shows, including the Rick and Bubba show. Ashley’s first Curb release is slated for early 2008.
