Are Jessica Simpson's Daisy Duke Days Over?

Jessica Simpson, the blonde headed hip-hop starlet we once knew, has begun focusing on her blossoming Country career, despite her recent increase in weight that has attracted much media attention.Fans saw a new Simpson after she opened a concert on Jan. 25 with anything but her accepted Daisy Duke appearance. She walked on stage wearing what is referred to as double belted mom jeans and performed several hit singles. "It’s all about keeping the faith,” Simpson said on the Early Show. Coming from a very religious background and having a minister father, Simpson said that praying out loud was very common in her family, a childhood experience that inspired her latest single, “Pray Out Loud.”The weight gain doesn’t seem to really bother the gorgeous singer. She said that while on tour with Rascal Flatts to promote her debut Country album, Do You Know, fans have been welcoming and accepting. “Honestly, I am right where I am supposed to be and I am so very happy,” Simpson said.
