This is an event not to be missed! For more information, visit the Americana Music Association’s website There’ll be plenty to do once you arrive in Nashville, but you’ll also get some help from recent coast-to-coast coverage of some of the best Music City has to offer: First, there’s this New York Times take on Nashville’s Americana community. There’s also this great travelogue called Tennessee’s Music Highway, about some of the key attractions – musical and otherwise - that Nashville and nearby Memphis have to offer. It’s written by Robert Hilburn for the Los Angeles Times Service. ********* Sirius Satellite Radio’s Outlaw Country (Channel 63) is launching a new weekly show hosted by neo-traditional country singer-songwriter, John Anderson. “John Anderson’s Outlaw Hour” will feature outlaw songs and artists, from the worlds of rock and country. The show airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at midnight and Friday mornings at 11 a.m. (all times Eastern). Outlaw Country channel 63, produced by "Little Steven" Van Zandt, is a sanctuary for the freaks, misfits, outcasts, rebels and renegades of country music. Listeners will hear Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe, Emmylou Harris, Dale Watson, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan, Dwight Yoakam, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Steve Earle, and all three generations of Hank Williams.  ********** In Americana chart news:
