The site, designed for Americana musicians and fans, will feature digital music sales, blogs, calendars, and user-created radio stations. AmericanaRoots.com founder Gregg Geil says, “Emugga will bring back the fun of social networking by catering directly to the Americana music scene.” CHART ACTION The top three spots on this week’s Americana airplay chart once again belong to Ryan Adams’ Easy Tiger, Kelly Willis’ Translated from Love and Marty Stuart’s Compadres: An Anthology of Duets, while the No. 4 position belongs to The One Who’s Leavin’ by Doug Spartz. Teddy Thompson makes an impressive debut at No. 24 with Upfront and Down Low, an excellent collection of his versions of country standards.
