The show features five people looking to make it big in the music business. They traveled to twelve different cities known for their music scenes, including Nashville. While in Nashville, Rhodes let the group join her in a writing session with Marv Green. They spent the rest of their time as tourists visiting Nashville. The stop ended with a trip to see downtown Nashville’s nightlife and a surprise performance with songwriter Thom Shepherd. Rhodes talked about the special performance in a statement from Music City News Media & Marketing. “I took them to The Station Inn to see a brilliant songwriter perform, Thom Shepherd, who is the co-writer of Craig Morgan’s hit, ‘Red Neck Yacht Club,’" said Rhodes. "Thom graciously invited them to join him onstage; they sang with him and his band. The whole night made for a remarkable memory for all of us.” Nashville was the eighth stop on the tour around the country for Ragged Road. Other stops include Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Cleveland and New York. The show will appear on YouTube starting Monday, Sept. 29. Rhodes’ episode should come out sometime between Oct. 13-22.
