Alison Krauss Celebrates Central Park

Alison Krauss will be a part of a star-studded celebration this September as part of National Parks Week, NYC. The free event will take place on Sept. 23 in New York City's Central Park, with Carole King and Jose Feliciano to headline alongside Krauss.

Other artists scheduled to perform include Eric Benet, Peter Yarrow and Gavin DeGraw. The event also will feature a screening of the PBS documentary "The National Parks: America's Best Idea," by filmmaker Ken Burns.

Alison Krauss & Union Station will also be lending their talents this October to the Rounders 40th Anniversary Celebration at The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
