Alison Krauss & Brad Paisley Perform With Nashville School At White House

 
Some lucky students of Country Music are getting the chance to participate in a special concert series and educational workshop in Washington, D.C., next week.

Forty students from the W.O. Smith/Nashville Community School of Music will take part in educational programming about Country Music and hear performances by Country Music star Brad Paisley, along with Alison Krauss and Union Station.

The students attending the event, hosted by the President and First Lady, will also participate in government education programs while in the nation's capital.

The community of Country Music helped fund the trip for the Nashville school, including donations from the Country Music Association, Great American Country, The Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center and Cracker Barrel, along with other local organizations and businesses.
