The single, “Sissy’s Song,” was written after the sudden death of someone Jackson saw everyday because of her work in the Jackson household.“She was just a real sweet young woman.  The sudden death of someone so young who we saw every day was really hard on me and all of us,” said Jackson. “I didn’t sleep for a while. I just didn’t feel right.  I sat down one day and wrote this song and after that I felt alright.”Soon after writing the song, Jackson went to the studio with Keith Stegall and recorded his song with just guitar and vocals and presented it to her family for the funeral.Jackson said, “A lot of people told me how much it made them feel better and helped them get through it a little easier, so I was very proud of it.”From his album Good Time, Jackson has achieved three consecutive No. 1 singles -- “Small Town Southern Man,” “Good Time” and “Country Boy,” which became Jackson’s 25th No. 1 single.
