Drive down the narrow, twisting Moran Road nearly any time of the day and you are sure to see a tour bus stopped outside the gates of Alan Jackson's Sweetbriar mansion. But the stop may not be on the route much longer as the Country superstar has decided to sell his home for $38 million.

Planning on building a new home on a smaller lot in a neighborhood near his current home, Jackson said all of the land (135 acres) really isn't that necessary anymore. He told the Nashville Scene, "We realized, as our girls got older, that they don't really use the property much. Once they get to be teenagers, they're mostly hanging out with their friends and on the iPod and cell phones in their rooms. If I'd had three boys instead of girls, they might be out here fishing and riding four-wheelers or something."

The price tag for this home not only includes a big lot and a six bedroom, eight bathroom, 19,000 square-foot home, but also has a 20-car garage, boathouse, three ponds, gymnasium and pool. Pictures of the Jackson estate can be found on http://realestalker.blogspot.com/2009/06/alan-jacksons-southern-spread.html.
