Jeff-Cook Guitarist and fiddle player Jeff Cook is back on stage picking strings with his new Allstar Goodtime Band (AGB), delivering the sound that Alabama fans once celebrated for more than thirty years. In 2004, when Alabama retired from the music scene, fans knew that it wouldn’t be long before the musicians returned to the game. Cook cooked up a new album, Ashes Won’t Burn, which is scheduled to release through iTunes on March 17. Quest Records is releasing the album, which Cook says is a mix of "Country, Soul, and Rock-n-Roll.""This new record will please Rock, Blues and Soul fans alike... we had a lot of fun making it... we call it ‘Funtry' music. Country Music fans can expect to hear those familiar guitar and fiddle licks from the past," Cook said. The Allstar Goodtime Band is comprised of nine parts, including a three-piece horn section, all personally picked by Cook.  All members were chosen on their ability to create intriguing stage chemistry that would all work together, with a targeted demographic including fairs, festivals, and casinos.
