Country Music newcomer Adam Gregory has teamed up with Soles4Souls to raise money and provide shoes for families in need during Gregory’s What it Takes 2009 tour. “I'm really looking forward to these shows because I feel like we can make a difference in people's lives,” Gregory said. “It's not just me performing for an audience, it's all of us working together for a bigger cause. I can't wait to get started.” At each concert, fans will be provided with an opportunity to donate a new or gently worn pair of shoes or make a donation to the Nashville-based Soles4Souls organization. Participating individuals will then receive a numbered flip-flop and attempt to locate their “sole” mate with the other matching shoe. The evening will end with a grand prize giveaway and a performance by Gregory, with all proceeds donated to Soles4Souls. The 10-week tour begins Jan. 19 and will run through March 31. The complete list of tour dates and locations are being finalized and will be listed on Gregory’s official Web site. Later that evening, Gregory will perform at the “Livin’ the Music” benefit concert for Soles4Souls at 3rd and Lindsley.
