ACM Incorporates Text Into Entertainer of the Year Voting

The Academy of Country Music and the Ram Truck Brand have announced the first ever chance for fans to text-to-vote for the Entertainer of the Year award. The 45th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards, hosted by superstar Reba McEntire, will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 18, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
 
The text-to-vote is powered by Ram Truck and will give fans the opportunity to use their cell phone texting capabilities in order to vote for the evening's biggest award. Contenders for Entertainer of the Year include: Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band.
 
Voting will begin at the beginning of the show, where the codes for each artist will be given, and continue for three hours. Before the show fans may also log onto www.VoteACM.com to vote.
