Tim McGraw Rumored to Run for Tennessee Governor in 2010

Country Music star Tim McGraw may be considering running for Tennessee Governor in 2010, according to the New Republic, a political magazine. McGraw would most likely be running against current governor Bill Frist for the seat. "...Tennessee Dems have been casting about desperately for a high-profile Democrat not named Harold Ford to take on Bill Frist, who is almost certainly going to run," the magazine said. "And they could do a lot worse, I suppose, than the Indian Outlaw. Which is saying something."And yes, that would make Faith Hill the first lady of Tennessee."If McGraw does indeed run, he would be following in the steps of Country legend Roy Acuff, who ran unsuccessfully in 1948.
