Country Music fans stand up to cancer! Join Country Music stars LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus and others as they take the stage Friday, Sept. 5, to raise cancer awareness with the Stand Up to Cancer campaign.  The simulcast show airs at 8 p.m. EST and CST and will feature a performance of the single, "Just Stand Up," and appearances from stars of the movies, television, sports and more. The Stand Up to Cancer campaign has gained tremendous momentum over the past few months. In addition to the commercial-free telecast, the organization has partnered to bring an eBay auction featuring celebrity-like items such as a meet and greet with Dr. Oz (from the Oprah Winfrey Show), Katie Couric or Jay Leno, tickets to a taping of Dancing with the Stars, set visits to Iron Man 2 and Spiderman 4, lunch with Stephen Colbert or golf with Sugar Ray Leonard, to name a few. The campaign has various Internet tie-ins, such as video segments with The Daily Show cast; "The Constellation," an online program that allows anyone, for $1, to launch a star in the name of a person diagnosed with cancer; and "The Stand," a interactive application that allows users to sign up and connect with others who have been affected by cancer.
