Songwriters Going To Big Apple

The CMA Songwriters Series is going home to New York City as the show will once again be happening at Joe’s Pub in the Big Apple. The two shows will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9, with special guest Josh Turner highlighting the second show. Songwriter Bob DiPiero will host both shows and will be joined by Gary Burr and Sam and Annie Tate. The shows will also serve as a lead up to the announcement of the nominees for this year’s CMA Awards, which will be made the following day on Good Morning America. “The Songwriters Show will be a great lead up to what are the industry’s most anticipated announcements,” said CMA CEO Tammy Genovese. “It showcases our outstanding songwriters.” Other shows will be scheduled at Joe’s Pub for late October.
