The Louisiana native made a stop in Gahanna, Ohio last week to surprise Brandy Hickman with a benefit concert for Hickman and her family.  Hickman, mother of two, has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. "When I got the call about Brandy and what her family wanted to do to help her cover the cost of medical bills, it was a no-brainer," said Huckaby, who lost his father to cancer in 2006. Huckaby sold out his merchandise at the show, and donated all profits to the Hickmans, helping the event bring in $8000. Huckaby's second album is expected to hit retail shelves later this year.
